La historia del soldado de plomo (The history of the lead soldier)

Erase una vez una pequeña aldea al norte del lago Ness en Escocia, en la que vivía un pequeño soldado que desde su niñez soñaba con ser un guerrero y triunfador en todas sus batallas. Luego de formarse en las mejores escuelas y con los mejores maestros en cada una de sus artes, él descubrió que existía una en la que no había sido entrenado… en el amor.

Aunque era un ser que todo lo hacía con este sentimiento, se encontraba con situaciones en las que no sabía cómo actuar y era lógico pues nunca fue preparado para eso… Al comenzar su adolescencia lejos de las mujeres que se sentían atraídas hacia él pues era simpático de joven, tuvo que enfrentar el sentimiento de amar y no poder corresponder como él quisiera pues prefería de alguna forma refugiarse en las batallas y su preparación en lugar de pensar en el sentimiento aquel… En medio de una batalla, él toma una decisión que cambiará su vida… decide buscar al mejor de los maestros del Highlands para que le ayudara a conocer más sobre este sentimiento al cual él quería enfrentarse y luchar.

Una vez con su maestro “el soldado” comienza a perder sus escudos. Los escudos que usaba para no ser tocado o herido por aquel poder para el cual no estaba preparado y no sabía cómo usar a su favor. Luego de pasar unos meses retirado de las batallas el soldado decidió salir a enfrentarse con el mundo que tenía enfrente. Sin embargo, luego de esta preparación volvió a su ciudad natal, en la que se encontró con un viejo amor de su infancia. Pero sorpresa, lo que él pensó que era el amor no se manifestaba con ella… por el contrario, encontraba que aquel sentimiento era más fuerte y sensitivo con su buen amigo de la niñez. Es por esto que decide salir corriendo de aquel pueblo y volver donde el maestro, para preguntarle por que estaba sintiendo esto por su amigo y no por la bella doncella que cortejaba. Al oírlo el maestro le dijo: “En el amor como en el corazón no se elige, se siguen las energías y fuerzas”. Luego de haber escuchado a su maestro él entendió que pasara lo que pasara debía ser feliz y que su felicidad la hallaría cuando encontrara esa persona en la que las fuerzas del corazón y la energía del amor fueran tan fuertes que no le permitieran escapar…

El día en que él decide volver a su pueblo… se da cuenta que su amigo ya compartía su amor con otra persona. Este hecho fue muy duro para el “soldado” pues traía todos sus triunfos y condecoraciones de batallas ganadas para compartirlos con su “amor” y “corazón” con la persona con quien él sentía aquellas fuerzas y energías… al darse cuenta de que el amigo ya no sentía lo mismo hacia él, toma la decisión para bien (según él) de cubrir su corazón con un revestimiento de plomo y es desde aquel día que él se denomina el “soldado de plomo”.

Sin embargo, nadie sabe porque tomó la decisión de blindar su corazón y adoptar este apodo. Un día cualquiera, conoce a una persona muy especial la cual logra penetrar su blindaje y con la cual decide volver a creer en este sentimiento y darse una oportunidad luego de intentarlo con muchos otros… luego, de algunos años y estando muy bien su relación de pareja, él soldado conoce a un personaje que llega a su vida con intensiones de quedarse por algún tiempo. Esto le causa una situación para la cual no había sido preparado por su maestro… pero para esta altura de su formación ya no tenía a quien acudir y debía solucionar sus problemas solo. Saber que sucede con aquel “soldado de plomo” y sus sentimientos es algo que debemos esperar en un nuevo capítulo, pues la historia no ha terminado de escribirse…

Once upon a time in a small village north of Loch Ness in Scotland, in which a young soldier lived who from his childhood dreamed about being a winner soldier and victorious in all battles. After training in the best schools and with the best teachers in each one of their arts, he discovered that one existed in whom he had not been trained… in love.

Although he was a being who all towards with this feeling was with situations in which nowise as to act and it was logical then never was prepared for that… When beginning its adolescence far from the women who felt then attracted towards him was likeable when younger, had to face the feeling to love and not to be able to correspond as it wanted because he preferred of some form to take refuge in the battles and their preparation instead of thinking about the feeling that… In the middle of a battle, he makes a decision that will change his life… decides to look for the best one of the teachers of Highlands so that he helped him to know but on this feeling to which he wanted to face and to fight.

Once with his teacher "the soldier" begins to lose his shields. The shields that used not to be touched or hurt by that power for which were prepared and he did not know like using to his side. After spending months retired of the battles the soldier decided to leave to face the world that tapeworm faces. Nevertheless, after this preparation he returned to his native city, in which one was with an old love of his childhood. But surprise, which thought that he was the love was not pronounced with her… on the contrary, found that the feeling was but strong and sensitive with his good friend of the childhood. It is by that he decides to leave running from the town and to return where the teacher, to ask him why he was feeling this by his friend and not by the beautiful doncella that courted. When heard it the teacher say: "in the love as in the heart it does not choose itself, just follow the energies and forces". After to have listened to its teacher he understood that it happened what happened had to be happy and that its happiness would find it when found that person in whom the forces of the heart and the energy of the love were so strong that they did not allow him to escape…

The day in which he decides to return to his town… notices that his friend already shared his love with another person. This fact was very hard for the "soldier" because it brought all his triumphs and decorations of won battles to share them with his "love" and "heart" with the person with whom it felt those forces and energies… when realizing of which the friend no longer felt the same towards him, he makes the decision for good (according to him) to cover his heart with a coating with lead and is from that day that denominate the "lead soldier"

However, nobody knows why he made the decision to armor his heart and to adopt this nickname. One day, he knows a very special person who manages to penetrate her shield and with which decides to return to believe in this feeling and to occur an opportunity after trying it with many others soon…, then, some years and in good time his relationship, welded he knows a personage who arrives at his life with intensities to remain some time. This causes a situation to him for whom he had not been prepared by his teacher… but for this time of his formation no longer he had to that to go and had to solve his problems single. To know what happens to the "lead soldier" and his feelings… it’s something that we must wait until the next capitulate, because history has not finished being written...
